Hey guys, i am getting the repair needed screen with the imei coming up unkown and the wifi and bluetooth not working. I have searched these forums looking for answers and none seem to be working. Can someone please post a way to fix this. I know how to get my phone in DFU mode, has anyone been successful fixing this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

If your baseband is questionable, use ZiPhone 2.4 to erase baseband -- then DFU restore 1.1.3

Thanks man, hours later i got it to work. Im on 1.1.3 right now. I did exactly what you said and it worked. Now just one more question, trust me ive been reading threads like crazr so sorry if this has been posted, im sure it has. I want to install installer.. How would i do that on 1.1.3. Am i gunna have to downgrade to 1.1.1, install installer, then do a soft upgrade to 1.1.3 through installer?

A ZiPhone jailbreak will put installer on for you, roll with jailbreak & activate

ya i did that, and it erased my baseband again. Im now in the process of redoing that problem again. although i only hit jailbreak, not activate.

I guess what i want to do is.. My wireless providor is ATT so i do not want to unlock the phone. On 1.1.1 i could just go to the jailbreakme.com website and upload installer from the web, via wi-fi. On 1.1.3 i cant. I do not was to unlock the phone i just want installer on there, mainly for the themes and NES roms, honestly thats all i need, i just tried to jailbreak my phone via ziphone to see if it would load installer, but it did not. It completely erased my baseband. I now have 1.1.3 running and fixed my baseband problem. I just need to know how to put installer on this

Well Lestad D after taking your advice again, i did the jailbreak and activate and it worked like a charm. Thanks for helpin me out man. I appreciate it alot.
