I bought a Alltel Motorola V3m from a friend the other week. It's not activated, I really wanted it just to mess around but will probably get it activated sometime in the future.

So I've been searching and messing around with it for the past 2-3 days. Mainly, I want games on it. I don't particularly care for the little seem edits to change this and that.

I tried PST and it said Kjava wasn't enabled or something. Tried a guide from here and the program, MotorolaMidletzManager, freezes when I try to use it. So I'm at my wits end of trying to figure this out. I also read you can't enable Java on this phone?

I've searched and searched and can't find too many answers so I apologize if this has been answered.

Can anyone point me in the direction of being able to add games to my phone?

With Alltel firmware you can't add games. You would need Telus or Bell Firmware.

Can I change my firmware to that or would I need a phone directly made by them. If I can change my firmware, could you should me a guide on how to or where to begin.

I could the only problem is there are no telus or bell flashes avaiable.

Ohhhh, well, that sucks. LOL, any news on either firmware being released sometime in the future.

there isn't any news. but there wouldn't be any news any ways. if the firmware gets leaked then it gets leaked. there is no way of knowing when it gets leaked until it is.
