Morning everybody,

Does anybody know if there is a security feature that will automatically lock if the phone is turned off and back on? On my last cell, Samsung U600, had that feature. Actually it had a handful of security features w/ the whole "Mobile Tracker"...etc. Ya know just in case it falls into the wrong hands. (rite now i have a lil *If lost please call #.....* post-it behind the battery cover)

So far on the Touch i've only found the standard "Lock" function, one which requires no password just a simple tap & tap.
And the only other security feature i found was the "Prompt to Lock phone if unused for X amount of hrs" which i have set up with my own custom password. But who wants the hassel of having to input ur password every 2 hrs???

Im using that now but does anybody know any other security features? ie the one mentioned above?

Oh and sorry 2nd quick ques.... What is the "Change PIN" feature? It's in the "Phone Settings", the screen with the Ring type, Ring tone, Keypad tone. I just want to know what kind of security feature that is and also what the DEFAULT PIN is? Sorry for the long ques but the manual really doesn't have much. It just tells you how to use the cam and touch flo and other basic things anyone can figure out.

OMGZ LOLZZ!!! it works!! i had to turn the touch off and on cause it wouldn't allow me to access the Start menu while on a call, which is a whole other issue in itself, and it worked! It asked me for my password!! I guess it's just an unsaid automatic feature once you use the "Lock if unused for X amt of hrs" security feature. Neat!

The Security Lock on the Touch is very buggy... Sometimes it activates whenever it feels like it, ie. 10 minutes after you suspend your Touch, you get a call and its asking you for the password.. It also takes the phone a couple seconds longer to wake-up from suspend mode when the lock is enabled..

I have been trying to find a better program to handle security on my Touch..

Wow! Ur rite! it does take longer to wake up. i keep thinking it's gonna freeze up one day. Hopefully there's a good fix to this.
