Can someone recommend a program for syncing my W490 with my windows PC.
I don't really want to buy Motorola's program. I would like to be able to put games on my phone and remove some of the preset ringtones and games.

I have a USB cable that works with my phone. I have successfully connected it under data mode and put things on it, but I would like to know how to remove things from the phone memory and how to put Java games on it.

Thanks in advance.

Use P2KCommander 4.9.E. To be able to delete ringtones, for each one, uncheck all of the file attributes in P2KCommander, then use the phone's menu to delete.

If you have a memory card in the phone, you can put the .jar and .jad files for games in the /kjava folder of the card, then from the phone's Games & Apps menu, select Install New and choose which one to install.

Thanks, I got P2kcommander, but I forgot to say that I don't have the drivers for my phone. Do you know where I could find them?

EDIT: I managed to get a game running. For some reason the kjava folder is hidden under windows but I ccan get to it through the address bar. I got Doom RPG working. THanks so much.

The standard P2K driver set will work. You can get the installer from motox or modmymoto (although modmymoto's link goes to MotoDev, Motorola's developer site).

The kjava folder is not hidden on my PC--it's kind of grayed out, but still openable--but I have my PC set to show all folders, not hide system folders.
