Hi,
I just flashed my new verizon razr v3m and it seemed like it succeeded with the small exception of no reception even after editing in the #073887* menu. Even called verizon pretending I had a weird problem with my reception and they only told me to bring it in.. which wont work :P
Also it keeps flashing inbetween the hello moto start up and the main screen every 5-10 seconds.
Please help o._.o

An important question -- how old is your V3m? Look in the battery box under the battery. Does it show just an ESN, or an MEID and a p-ESN? You cannot flash an MEID V3m with Vivo and expect it to work. The Vivo firmware is only for ESN. If it is an MEID V3m, I don't know how to help recover the phone back to Verizon firmware, but perhaps someone else can. The Verizon "Monster" firmware I've found is also only for ESN.
If it's an ESN V3m, then put it into bootloader mode, flash it with a Verizon Monster (for the V3m), activate it, and then try reflashing it with Vivo, following Mark Venture's instructions for Vivo flashing to the letter. Even though my ESN V3m worked the first time after Vivo flashing it, I still started over and reflashed it again -- twice -- each time changing one or two of the optional Seem edits as I learned more about what some of the options do. The third time got all the optional things set the way I like them . . . but was very careful to do everything labeled "required."
Note:
If you're not aware of this, MEID is replacing ESN because the TDMA/CDMA phone makers are about to run completely out of ESN and all the new Moto phones hitting the streets are MEID -- within Verizon, V3m with MEID started popping up some time last year. Unfortunately, V3m MEID firmware hasn't leaked yet.

Sorry to say that that won't work. The phone would still have to be reactivated once you reflashed it with the VIVO monster. Once you reflash it, get a hold of a copy of either QPST or Motorola PST, and a Verizon PRL, and send it to the phone. Look around the forums for instructions, or PM me.

If you follow Mark Venture's guide for flashing a Verizon V3m with Vivo exactly (all the required steps), the detailed steps follow a very general sequence:- Activate phone and update with Verizon's firmware in the phone on Verizon's network, including updating the PRL (*228 Options 1 and 2)
- Deactivate (disassociate) your phone number from the phone's ESN (by assigning your phone number to a different phone).
- Save the necessary operating parameters and settings to reactivate it for Verizon's network after flashing it with Vivo firmware.
- Flash phone with Vivo firmware.
- Restore operating parameters and settings for Verizon's network that were saved earlier.
- Reassign your phone number back to the phone's ESN on Verizon's network.
- Program phone settings and update PRL (*228 Options 1 and 2).
Note that the last step is actually redundant with the restoration of operating parameters and settings listed in Mark's guide just before reassigning your phone number back to the phone's ESN. You shouldn't need to do it (the *228 programming at the end), but it's still a wise thing to do, and it verifies that the phone is working correctly on Verizon's network. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of following the required steps in Mark's guide exactly as he gives them.
If you need to start over, do so at the very beginning, by restoring Verizon firmware with a Verizon Monster flash, and reactivating it on your account temporarily to do a *228 Option 1 and 2 (do BOTH).
