how to add mp3s to my storage card on my HTC touch?

seems like when i create a playlist in windows media player, and add the playlist to my HTC, it automatically saves the playlist and mp3s to the onboard memory for the phone. does anyone know how to specify that the playlists (or at least the mp3s) should be saved on my storage card instead? TIA!

yup i do. Your using active sync, tried getting it to work properly with my touch but disaster.
So click on the green active sync on the bottom right of your screen when connected...
You should have at least two items, the touch itself and the memory card. delete the touch then add it, when selecting the things to active sync decline everything for the touch itself and accept whatever you want onto the card. This will now copy the music and playlists onto the memory card. I really liked how album art was on the active sync, but I found i copied the songs twice sometimes onto the card, and active sync just plain sucks. I now use pocket player (wicked eq. and bass boost) and just copy the songs I want directly to the card. It frustrates me that windows tried making this process simpler with active sync but it just makes things harder.

when you say bottom right of the screen, do you mean the PC screen, or the HTC screen? on either the PC or the touch, i do not see the memory card at all. i am using windows mobile device center version 6.1.6965
