ROKR Z6M microSD question

I know that the z6m is limited to 2gb microSD... but what happens if you put in a larger card? Will it only be able to see 2 gigs but still work fine, or will it refuse to use a larger card at all?
Are there any hacks to allow you to use a larger card?
