So which K850 firmware is good, which isn't?

Got a Rogers one, but unbranded it.

The firmware I have now is:
R1DA038

Should I be worried about it crapping out on me?

I have RICA 037 and so far no complaints.....came from Hong Kong.

Leave it alone until the most recent unbranded firmware is out.

You have the most updated firmware.

I've got the (unlocked k850i) R1CA029 fw. Had many restarts on the first day until first time using mass storage via cable to PC.

I was wondering if R1DA038 is branded firmware? I've read many places saying that its a Rogers branded firmware..

I also hear that a newer firmware will be released shortly from now, so should I wait for that or up mine to R1DA038??

I bought mine from Pacific Mall, using R1CA037 but i can't seem to update my firmware to most recent. Tried SEUS as well as phone update, neither picks up on the latest firmware. I'M PISSED!

i had mine from there too but i canged mine with a european FW on davinci team and now i got the new Fw on seus

,sems like is more faster few things new the cam is a little bit improved but on the video section the same crapy video

I've updated finally!

I was on the R1C0037 China firmware, now I'm on R1EA031

how did you manage to update? I have the same issue it says it is up to date and I have R1CA037

SEUS should work. Get it from SE's support site. It updated my phones to the new R1EA031 version, which should be the latest one. Updating through the phone update system(if that's what you did) doesn't seem to work too well, at least for me.

Actually I am doing it throught the PC, not through the phone update system.. I'll try again later in the day to see what happens

You have Chinese firmware? Davinci Team has the new Taiwan firmware listed, although it says customized, so I'm not sure it's the same as generic.
