Absolutely not, in any way possible.
Nextel is IDEN, Verizon is CDMA, and they are not interchangeable.

The IC series phones are CDMA. Maybe the IC902 would be the best for that option if you get it unlocked. Just a thought...

you cannot unlock a CDMA phone period! Its moot point regardless because once again, Verizon ONLY activate phones from Verizon.
The day you can get a DVD player to play a VHS tape might be the day you can use a Nextel phone on Verizon.
