AMPD KX18 Resets

I have an AMPD KX18 flashed to Cricket. When I try to activate it (*228 ) it resets and wont complete the activation. Can anyone help me fix this problem. Thanks.

Try to program manually:

Turn on your phone with the red power/end button
Press End to clear the “Initial programming needed” message
From the Main Screen (displaying time and date), enter 111111 (1 six times)
Press the options soft key
Press the up button once to highlight “Service”
Press OK
Press the down button once to highlight “Programming”, and press OK
You will see “Enter Security Code:”
Enter 333333 (3 six times)
You will see “Srvc Options”
Press the down button once, then press OK to select MIN
Press and hold the back button for 2 seconds to remove the existing number
Enter your new Cricket Phone number
Press the OK button
If a different directory number needs to be programmed
Press the down button twice, then press OK to select MDN
Press and hold the back button for 2 seconds to remove the existing number
Enter the 10-digit directory number
Press OK
Press the red End/power button
Programming completed. Your phone will reset.
