thinking of getting a sanyo scp 7000 to use as a cheap work phone, dose anyone have one of these and are they somewhat durable???

I would look at one of the Nextel phones if you want durability. They have come down in price quite a bit.

I don't know about that phone but I just bought a mm 7500 off ebay for 65 dollars and it has rubber all around the edges .It looks pretty durable and has ev-do which is nice . Sanyos are supposed to be pretty durable phones .

Just remember the only Sanyo phone which is actually Mil-Spec rugged is the 7050.
