Is there any hack or tool to get Firefox installed on the phone? Or can u just install it by going to the site using the phone?

There isn't a version of Firefox made for iPhone that I've heard of.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want firefox on your iphone? Sure its a great browser for the pc, but safari is the best mobile browser out there hands down.
To answer your question though, as far as I know...firefox isn't available on installer and at this time you can't install or save anything on your iphone from a website.
