Just curious, has anyone been to one and if so how is it? Is everything paid for (flight, food, etc.)?

Posted by: neodamonkey

I have talked to people who have been and yes it is an all expense paid trip. They say it is really nice and it was fun.

I will find out this April!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which Region are you in? You going to the AZ or FL location?

Posted by: neodamonkey

central texas. we are giong to Arizona

I know 3 people on the way to Summit. One deserves it, one has been in a perpetually short-staffed store, the other is shady as hell.

Posted by: bbdamon

have they announced the winner for West region yet???

Posted by: Mylogins

See you in Summit. Its gonna be interesting this time.

I was looking at the Phoenician resort online and seeing what it was all about.... Cant wait! Should be alot of fun. Does anyone know how much free time we will have for ourself? I mean do we have to do company stuff during the day and we have the rest of the night for free or what? I was curious how that worked.

man thats funny to see that guy talk about one in an understaffed store and the other being shady. I was in a busy store with 6 reps, we moved to a new location and hired 7 more for a total of 13 and I didn't slip a notch. The "shady" remark is comical because "shady" sales are investigated in depth. Just man up and do your job without saying things about the winners. Our director called me personally last week to congratulate me, and I will be heading to naples, florida. I'm pumped!! resort looks sick and I booked deep sea fishing and jet ski riding for my leisure activities. Also, I want my trophy !!

dude has 697 posts on here, maybe he should be selling instead of whining about being left behind and posting on here about other reps

Posted by: SuxBeingU

adn you joined just today to slam him. What your regular screen name?

are you saying there are no shady reps? I find that hard to believe.

Posted by: attsummit08

but I am one of the top reps in my region no matter who they bring in, and I hear this shady this or good store that, and for what? No matter what people say about me they still don't beat me and can't find anything I do that's nt on the level. The other day our arsm in a meeting asked why me and my two friends dominate every month and max out tier 3, where others struggle to hit 80%, there answer was we slam accounts. My response was that if turning a simple insurance claim into an upgrade or 2, 3 ,4 is slamming an account, then yeah I slam as much as possible. Some people need to just admit that they might not have the skills others do. And I joined because I just booked my summit reservation today, and I was looking for any info on the web, and this is all I could find.

If you want to talk about shady. My region had a manager @ 6000% to quota. Kinda makes all the other runner ups feel warm and fuzy when the cnext highest was only at about 150%

Posted by: attsummit08

we had a similar situation but it was a computer error that showed for one month that 3 reps were over 300 percent that had never been in the rankings even, bt when rankings were finalized it fixed itself. to be honest, managers are lucky they are even included, because if it wasn't for the performance of their reps they wouldn't be going in the first place. it's a shame more anagers go than the reps that send them

Aww, did I bruise your little ego by stating a few facts about people I know, and you, well, don't know? Seems like you joined just to brag about your little achievement, if I were to guess you're still new enough to believe the naive tripe you spilled out above. You probably believe the rumors that they hand out bags of cash at summit!

As for me, aside from a nice thing to stick on a resume, summit doesn't appeal to me, probably because I know 3 more people that have been there in the past besides the 3 that are going this year.

Oh, right I'm on here all day long dragging you down.

ConGrats to you Summit WieNers!!
I am nothing but proud of the NWS Animals, , that are going!

Posted by: neodamonkey

I havent even gotten an email about planning or anything. I got a call from the region guy but thats it. I want to make plans!

feature flipping as far as i am concerned is an epidemic and i guarantee you alot of honest sales people are not going to summit because they did it the right way. if you disagree, you simply don't look at the features on people's account close enough. i have gone to the summit multiple times but refuse to flip to increase my feature per opp which prevented me from going.

Posted by: neodamonkey

^^^^ so you are telling me that if you see a customer who has a family plan with 5 lines and they all have unlimited text packages for $20 that you would not ask to change them to the family text and save them $70 a month? Is this what you are talking about when you say feature flipping?

Posted by: ATnt-RSC

^Wow. How long have you worked for the company? How could you not know what he means? Seriously, I understood the concept before I was even hired.

Assuming you're not joking, he means taking off a feature, and re-adding the same SOC using his code. He may or may not charge back the original rep.

Posted by: neodamonkey

Ummm yeah I do thanks for asking though. Some people would consider what I was talking about as flipping because the rep may get a charge back. but why do you have to assume that most people going to summit are doing this? I know that i am sitting at $26 per opp (and yes I am hitting my opp goal).

Posted by: bam bam

if you re-read my post i did not say most people going to summit are feature flippers. i know how much a good salesperson can do and when i see some of these huge numbers it is common sense what is going on. alot of fishing, flipping etc...it is a game for many people to beat the system unethically. oh well, i am just glad i went to places like maui instead of orlando so i am o.k.

Posted by: Moneyline23

Does anyone know the exact qualifications for making Summit and also how many reps are usually taken for each region? I've seen how you can make Summit but do you have to be in the top % of each category and if so what is the % usually?
