i can copy the nvm_factory file using pst efs, then edit it,then save it to my phone.the phone goes thru a reset cycle, then reverts back to the old nvm_factory settings??? I've done the 2742 seem edit, and tried removing the "dun." from my tethered nai then writing that to the phone.same problem.
I'm stumped.....please help!!

You could always try -> http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...286#post8031286
also in the thread discussing the NVM_Factory hack, there are V3M users reporting the same issue... see around Post #247 and so... -> http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...5&page=13&pp=20

Thanks but i got it finally.in order for it to work i had to save a copy of the nvm_factory file say on my desktop then edit it using p2k seem, and 010hex editor.then using pst efs "delete"the original nvm_factory from the phone then write the "edited" nvm_factory file to the phone.as long as i didnt delete the original from the phone it would always use that one no matter how many times i wrote my edited version to the phone.also just fyi on verizon inpulse phones the service programming code is not "000000" as it is on postpaid phones but you can find the spc by using bitpim or qpst, its in the nvm file somewhere at the end of one of the hex strings.will post exactly where it is later.anybody can pm me for help on this one.thanks again to all on this forum awesome just awesome!!!

Sorry, I missed that you have an InPulse phone...
btw, spc is stored in SEEM 0055
