Open Wave browser in Z6m

So who else with a ROKR Z6m hates their Open Wave browser? It's so slow, laggy, and displays text as if I was a blind child. I do miss my old Samsung A900 sometimes.
Is there a way to change the default browser to my Opera Mini v4?

How did you get opera on the phone. I have been trying and could not figure it out.

Download Opera mini onto your phone.. www.operamini.com << visit that on your phone's browser. Once its downloaded and installed you can access it from the Applications menu. I do not believe you can set it as the default browser.

I have cricket and you can't download ota programs. It doesn't let you is there any otehr way to get it on there?
