Hey!

I have a Palm Treo 680, and the battery just won't charge more than %21 no matter how long I let it charge for...

any idea what to do?

I've tried the battery reset thing on Treonauts, still no go

The battery itself is FULLY charged because its lasted me like two days, but the display meter on the Treo reads empty

I've updated to the latest firmware, done the battery reset, done a hard reset, and still nothing..

anybody?

Either 2 things happened:

1. Battery its self is bad and needs to be replaced, collapsed cell(s).
2. The battery sensor on the phone is bad and needs repair.

Either option is covered by the warranty, thats if youve purchased it within the year.

if you have tried all thoses fixes, than it could be the hardware that is defective. if your treo is still under warranty i suggest to take it into repair.

I just had a similar problem. My battery was stuck showing 99%. Whether the charger was connected or not. Sometimes it would show charging and sometimes it wouldn't. Just got the phone so I took it to a AT&T store and they put a new battery in it and now its fine. So I would guess your battery has a bad cell in it.
