Disconnecting Calls

My Blackberry 8830 disconnects any call I make to Time Warner Cable. I get the initial recorded greeting from Time Warner, then the line rings, and then there is another recorded greeting telling the caller to press 2 for Spanish. At that point the phone disconnects.

I've called with a friend's 8830 also on Verizon like mine and there is no problem. Has anyone experienced this or have any idea what is going on? I really need to call Time Warner to have them send a signal through to my cable modem and I just can't get to them.
