So i have done a bunch of seem edits to my Verizon V3m and now the front image when CLOSED is white. all the numbers , time, reception etc. is there. but there is no wallpaper. i have tried setting it. different wallpaper for the front screen, to no avail.
i did a bunch of edits, most of which i didn't know wont work with this version. but i have reloaded stock files i found on the net. I don't have backups (convenient hard drive failure)
i have reloaded some stock seem edit files for the common 2742's and such.
nothing happens. everything else works fine. front image when open main screen wallpaper, start up and shut down images all work beautifully.
software version: 24.1_01.19.04
here is a pic of what I'm talking about. The screen was showing the front wallpaper at one time, but not now. only white.

I've never seen that before. If you flash your phone I'm sure it will restore it, then dial *228 to reprogram your phone; you'd have to backup your phonebook, pictures, videos and ringtones first, however.

but how hard is it to flash with version of the firmware, and where can i get one and a link how to!

i dont mind the backup and ca do that in a few mins.

I haven't heard of that firmware before - you can get firmware here:
http://www.humpa.com/vzw/
Make sure its for the V3*m* and not V3*c*.

After you are done flashing dial *228 and follow the instructions for activating your phone, and load all of your stuff back on.
