is there any software that will allow me to add/remove/update my contacts on the computer and then upload that to my phone?

Myphoneexplorer is something like that. Its pretty straightforward.

Once you open MyExplorer, press F2 on your keyboard, this opens the OPTIONS menu. now, proceed to "search for device" but first make sure that it is successfully connected using the SE USB cord! Once the search is complete, you will now be able to retrieve, add and sync your contacts, sms, etc.

MyExplorer is a great tool, I've been using it since my w810i and I swear by it since!

well i thought it was working but its not.

i reinstalled the usb drivers from this site...

well it works sometimes but not others. im not sure whats going on but when it does work, it really seems like a nice program.

I suggest checking to see if you have the most up-to-date version of MyPhoneExplorer, also install the drivers for the phone from the SE website, maybe the drivers on the cd that came with the phone have been updated?

You can also do this on the included Sony PC Suite.

I use a SonyErricsson W580i. In phone contact list have some name as:
V Trang
Vien
Viet
Vinh
Vinh PC
...
But when I press VINH, the highlight stop at V Trang only.
Highlight may be understand Space after letter(s) in list.
Please help me.
I called to SonyErricsson and take my phone to them test and upgrade lastest firmware but ... not solved this problem.
