Hi everyone. I am new to the BlackBerry world. I did not get a data plan cause I just wanted to use WIFI for my occasional internet needs. How can I make sure that I am connecting to the net via free wifi only and never to the pay per use net? Thanks again!

Have you removed the Pay Per Use feature from your account in OLAM?

If you haven't, that is how I would do it. Another way would be to disable Mobile Network Data Services. To do this, click Manage Connections, Mobile Network Options, and where it says Data Services, change the On to Off. I'm not sure if that setting will stay off if you power off the phone, so you may want to check that before you assume it is off for good.

Oh, and welcome to the club!

Hi! Thanks for the welcome and the help! I did the second method, but would like to do the first one as well. What is OLAM??
