WOW, X1 not coming till 1 year after announcement!. Can we say P990i again boys and girls.

But I like the date of May 26, 2008. Many phones coming out then. C702, C902, G700, G900, W760i.

it's possible the reason of X1 delay is the U380 chip
why don't use Qualcomm chip on this model?!
T-Mobile 3G will be around in Q2, if X1 can make it by then, we can expect a good number of T-Mobile 3G users will buy it (5000 I guess)

We should kindly ask SE to "not discuss" releases until this gap closes alot sooner ...The anxiety is killing me...hand me a small brown bag to breathe into...1 year wait..OMG !! Its probably worth it...come on..lately these announcements are teasers...this new model will be out in 6-9 months...Despite the letdown...Come on..we still love our SE's...

I for one, do not believe the release date of the X1 as indicated by the first post, because SE already has a dedicated site already up for the X1,
as well as a genera overview page on their main site. I for one, give the X1 approx 6-8 months! I hope and pray I am right

No, since October or November. I don't fully believe all those dates. Although SE is known for late late releases.

Let's say, for arguments sake that the release date for X1 is in fact 2009. Why on earth would SE release a commercial (in some markets) for the phone?!

At least the release date for w890 above is right. FYI, HK just released w890 on 02/29/08 for HKD 3480, and plemix.com already carries it too.

well these dates are pretty good..Plemix just released the w380..I guess we'll have a big release at the end of may looking at this..and the little star thingy is gone on the SE site...

about X1, FCC documentation will have definite answer, but be prepared there'll have 2 different versions (one for 850, another for 900 3G)

Okay here is a much better, updated version. Storms coming in May and September. September is my B-Day so SE is releasing 4 Hi End phones just for me including Paris and a Walkman phone with Autofocus camera

Today is the day for the w760i, I'm really hoping to get my hands on one. I have not heard if they have been pushed back at all. You can but the black ones at a few places online but I wanted a red one.
