Is there anyway that I can get my T-Mobile Dash to automatically backup my SMS via email after a certain number of SMS messages?

For instance, say after I receive 20 messages, could I have my phone automatically package them into an email, and then send it to a specified email address? My phone doesn't have a lot of room, and my email has a lot more room than my phone will ever have, so I'd like to be able to back up my sms that way.

Not sure you will find anything exactly as you describe but there are a couple 3rd party solutions that can help backup and organize sms messages. One is Jeyo Mobile Companion. There is a 15 day trial period. If you search around the foums a bit, you should come up with some other threads that will be of assistance. Welcome to HoFo.
