Hello, I am trying to put an MP3 format song on my Sanyo S1. I know that it only uses the midi format and I am wondering if anyone out there might have a solution to my problem. This is what I want to sccomplish.

Ok I have the Faber Drive song When I'm With You in MP3 format.

I want to be able to use this song as a ringer on my phone. Can anyone sujest how I can make it work and also sound good. I have tried converting it to mid format but to be honest it sounds like crap.

Or if any of you talented people out there could possibly make this song into a poly tone for me that would be really good.

You don't want to convert it to MIDI.

You want Qualcomm QCELP. Search for "Qualcomm Purevoice Converter." You'll need to convert from MP3 to WAV first, and then to QCP.
