Long vibration for a text message

Howdy there everybody!!
I'm having a bit of a problem here with my Pantech Duo Smartphone running WM6.... for some reason, whenever I get a text message, like from AIM on a computer to my phone or from another cell phone, to my cell... It vibrates for about a minute long!!
Is there any way to shut that off? I cant seem to find the settings for that...
