Audiovox XV6700 Freezeing During Start-up

I really, really, hope someone can help me! My XV6700 freezes on the Verizon logo screen every time it is turned on, I can't even turn it back off without taking the battery out. I have tried both types of reset functions and neither of them work. Anyone have any ideas?

As a very very last resort (cause you will lose anything you have on it, including contacts, programs, etc) you can download and install a new firmware onto it. Just remember this is a last resort.
