I recently upgraded from 1.0.2. using the guides at i.unlock.no but when i get to the java jailbreak of 1.1.2. i cant do it cause itunes wont recognize the phone cause i cant find the att sim it came with. is there a way to jailbreak without it?

why 1.1.2?

Restore to 1.1.4 via itunes, then download and run ziphone.

i thought i had to go to each firmware. I was @ 1.0.2. virginized went to 1.1.1. jailbroke and unlocked went to 1.1.2. and cant get it to jailbreak. So i can update right to 1.1.4. and use ziphone? well actually it wont connect to itunes cause i dont have a valid sim how do i get around that?

DFU restore...

So do this....

Download ziphone...go to advanced options, and put your phone in DFU restore mode. Itunes will complain. Then Restore to 1.1.4.

yeah i figured it out. got 1.1.4. unlocked now just working out kinks like edge settings and youtube.

any fix for edge on 1.1.4. yet? i found it in installer for 1.1.1. but wont help me on 1.1.4.
