I want to know so that us legit iPhone users could look into actually using it w/out being charged everytime and retain them with our messaging allotment ($0.25/message isn't cheap for regular use). |

Also, I was trying to go to my OLAM to see if it had registered as a MMS, but of course AT&T has a delay on that kind of data, so I won't be able to find out until tonight or tomorrow. Sorry. |

I called AT&T to have them add MMS. They told me they could, but at a cost of $0.25 per message. It worked after that. I hadn't used it in a couple weeks because it was buggy, but then I installed the new version today and got the "service denied" error again. I called AT&T again and they told me MMS had been removed from my account. When I asked why, they said that their system does "periodic sweeps" and if it finds that an account has both the iPhone service and MMS, it will automatically turn off MMS. They re-enabled it on my account and I can now receive MMS messages on my iPhone (which is awesome). But, keep in mind that AT&T does this, so if you suddenly can't send or receive MMS, you may need to reactivate the service.

They said that because the iPhone has such specific account requirements, MMS was a feature that was not supposed to be allowed. I had them turn it back on, but I'm afraid it will be turned off later today. I can't believe that no one else is having this problem. Anyone? Anyone?

I typed the above into a browser and it says that the address doesnt exist. Is it down or something? Even in the STE repository it still shows up as an old 2.2 version. Ive updated all of my sources and it still shows as 2.2. |

Here's the line in the SwirlyMMS file in the SwirlyMMS.app directory that I believe needs to be changed:
/var/mobile/Media/MMSFiles /var/mobile/Media %y%m%d-%H%M%S %s/%s %s %s %s %u.%s creating %s %s.%s %s.txt I know the photo.app needs the image file to be formated a certain way...I believe its "IMG_1234.JPG" where 1234 is any sequence of unused numbers already in the folder. In the SwirlyMMS they use year month day hour minute & seconds as u see above.I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could test this out. Then again it would be kinda like stealing code...so I don't know ![]() |

root/private/var/mobile/media/mmsfiles. That is where it stores them on my phone anyways. |

dont get me wrong, I love the program, it brings what the iphone has been missing for a long time to reality, Im just nitpicking in hopes they will make it better soon... |
