Has anyone tried replacing their housing? It looks pretty easy based on this guide

http://www.formymobile.co.uk/Disman...disassembly.htm

It looks like you remove the battery panel, slide a credit card and you get the front and back off...

Anyone tried this housing?

How do you think this would affect the "touch screen button" softkeys...

I want to get a Rogers one and change it to green...

It kinda looks like the housing doesn't cover the screen, can anyone confirm?

that is correct, there is no lens on the k850i, the lcd has the lens built in

The guide in the link is not helpful at all! Its not as simple as sliding the front cover off. I had to spend hours trying to figure out how to remove the front cover and ended buying the manual which is more detailed.

So its really just a ploy to get you to start replacing the housing yourself and end up having to buy the manual cause its too difficult otherwise!

i have both parts from gsm4world and was much more satisfied with their parts and customer service than CNN.CN
