Hey guys, I am from India and using Airtel.....I upgraded my iphone from 1.0.2 to 1.1.4 using independence, everything worked smoothly, need to install "installer", how can i do that...

run ziphone and jailbreak it....the process will install Installer.app onto your phone.

Once you jailbreak you phone with it it will install the install.app.

Hey...I have already jailbroked and upgraded my iphone using independence as i told...so i cant use ziphone again for jail break as it is already done.....now how should i install installer on my phone, as it is 1.1.4 now and on nullriver the last compatible "installer.app" is for 1.1.2.

well, you can restore your phone to 1.1.4 - which, in turn would re-jail everything, and just use ZiPhone -j -a to jailbreak and activate it. When your phone boots up, it will have Installer.app on it.

The other way is to manually install Installer by copying the files onto the phone, but I'm not sure how to do that with a Mac.
