I have a Nokia 6265i phone that I need to use with Metro. We have tried to put in the service programming code - all I get is code error. I sent it to Nokia to fix. They charged me 58.00 and it still gets the same error. They don't even know who it was coded to, but won't change it....even after they charged me and I sent it to them twice! I am sooooo frustrated. The box has MEXICO on it and when I call 611, I get one moment please.....onemoment please...then it disconnects. Can anyone help??? I am beyond frustrasted at this point

gkathieb,

Greetings. Welcome to HoFo!

6265i is a CDMA handset and typical unlocking methods for GSM models CANNOT be applied. Then even you have obtained the SPC from the provider which put the code in there, you need to get Metro PRL loaded before you can get access to the service at all.
