Hi,

I have a Nokia 6085 under contract with Roger's Wireless in Canada. I wish to use it with a prepaid SIM card on an upcoming overseas trip, but the phone is locked. Rogers informed me that they have stopped selling unlock codes.

Does anyone know of an unlock code for this phone?

Hmmm,only your operator and nokia has got the code for your phone, u have to contact them ( where u bought it ) and ask for the unlock code

6085 is a bb5 protected phone, so no chance to unlock it, except the way i mentioned above. its the same as with nokia symbian phones, no chance to unlock it, as most other phone models...

Ah, that's too bad. As I mentioned, Rogers wouldn't provide the code (the tech support person actually referred me to this site instead!). So I suppose I could try contacting Nokia.

Apart from that, I did find a deal with a cheap phone and SIM card - I was just hoping to be able to use my current phone and not have to get another one.

BTW, I decided to buy an unlocked phone and SIM card combo...it was actually cheaper than getting my phone unlocked (I did find a guy who could unlock my phone, but at $45 it was a bit more than I expected).
