Does w580 shake feature go away with debranding?

I did a search before posting this and used "w580 and shake" as the search terms. Nothing.

Does the shake feature go away when you debrand?

I play my music, shake the phone and nothing happens. Does the pedomenter feature have to be on or something?

you have to hold the walkman key for the shake feature in the music player to work.

or you can use the glitch to allow the shaking feature to work for changing music without holding the walkman key

What do you mean by "glitch"?

It would be nice to be able to shake without pressing the button

well hmm

1. hit the walkman button.
2. press play
3. press down (keypad)
4. press right (keypad) twice
5. press walkman button.

and now you should be able to change the tracks just by shaking it without holding the walkman key.

NOTE: to remove the glitch.. simply press the walkman button..

It won't go away if you use R8BE001.
It went away for me because I used R8A, but then I changed to R8E. Good stuff.
