Problems sending/rec txt msgs & calls

I bought a pantech duo for my daughter for Christmas. Over the last several weeks she has begun to have sporadic problems with sending and receiving text messages as well as making or receiving calls. One minute the phone works and the next it doesn’t. I contacted AT & T and they attempted to send new software to the phone and even switched out the sims card. I went to the Patech Duo site which is nothing more than an advertisement to search for software for the phone. Does anybody have suggestions? My next step is to take the phone in and have a tech look at it.

This happened to me. It started with problems sending/receiving texts. Then problems with MediaNet, then i couldn't even make calls or receive them. The techs couldn't help me. They had me do a manual phone reset 4 times. Turns out the phone was defective and I sent it back and they sent me a replacement. So far this phone has been good....but it has only been 1 month..hopefully it stays working

I think there are some bad bugs out there for this phone for sure...
