Fastest way to transfer files?

I'm getting my tilt ready to become my new MP3 since I'll be getting my music adapter tomorrow. I started transferring MP3 songs from my computer to a micro sd card on the tilt.
But its going really slow copying albums. Right now I'm hooked via the sync cable and transferring over to the storage card direct from My music folder on my PC.
I'm wondering if there is a better way of doing this. Other options I was thinking would be transfer via my bluetooth hub. Would that be any faster?
Also I've got that micro sd card to usb adapter but that wouldn't transfer any faster since its already transferring via the usb sync cable?

use a card reader

Yeah use a card reader or better yet if you have a laptop or pc with an internal reader then I would use that. My laptop has one and it goes 2 to 3 time faster then with usb and my phone.

The phone USB port does have USB 2.0 capability but the SDIO socket on the phone does not have this bandwidth. What your doing is pretty much what I do but getting a card reader or USB card adapter is indeed a faster solution.

Okay thanks guys. I have a USB card adapter for the mini sd but didn't think it would be any faster since they are both technically hooked to the USB 2.0 interface. I wasn't aware the SDIO socket couldn't handle the bandwith of 2.0 usb's. I'll just hook that up for future transfers.
