Copy playlist off iPhone?

Is there a way to copy the playlist of songs on my iPhone onto my computer?
Here is my problem: I formated my computer... I have all my music on an external hard drive and my iTunes folder is also located on it. When I formated I thought I would be fine because all my files would remain intact.
Well after reinstalling iTunes I managed to get all the songs to sync, but something went terribly wrong with the playlist that my iPhone syncs with, and the list that had over 1000 songs, now only shows ONE song.

I don't know what to do because if i Sync with that playlist it will delete everything but that ONE song off my iPhone. Making a new list for it to sync with will take ages, and I cant even copy the playlist off the iPhone because when it is plugged into iTunes all the songs are greyed out (not even playable) and it says that the iPhone is synced with a different computer.

If I could copy the playlist off the iPhone I could just make it sync with its own playlist (since all the songs are still in the same location, unchanged as they originally where)

Someone save me.

It sounds like you may be confused about what a playlist is (if not, apologies for giving you old news). A playlist file contains no songs. Instead, it contains pointers/links to songs.

When you move an iTunes library by copying or dragging, you often break those links. The preferred method is to let iTunes transfer the Library.

Check out Apple's support forums or Knowledgebase for ways to recover from this (it's a detailed, multi-step process or I'd write it here). Then you can re-sync your phone.

I know what a playlist is, thats all I need. The pointers to the songs. The entire list of the ones currently on my phone.
The songs have not been moved, all of them are still in the same spot so the links are not broken.
Only the playlist itself that syncs with iPhones disappeared.
I need the playlist again, the songs are still in the same spots so the links to them will all work fine.

Its just a lot of work to make the list of 1000+ songs all over again.

TouchCopy will do it, just go into options and select copy play lists.
