Question Regarding Cor employment

Ok so my agent has just given me the shaft plus I am tired pf being slightly encouraged to lie to customers so I am aplying with cor. However when I was 18 I got arrested for having my girlfriends addoral in the car and got charged with a 2nd degree felony. Luckily I did not get convicted but I think the arrest shows still and the adjudication. So with that being said, I am 22 now and have a rather solid sales history but will my previous screw ups prevent me from getting a job?

Thankyou in advance for your replies.

They run a pretty thick background check. After I was hired, they asked me if i had anything on my record... I didn't but they are very dtrict with dates of employment and such they check all your W2s and everything. Good Luck just left Cor, would never go back.. No money.. if you work hard you make more at Indirect.

Drug and DUI convictions will not automatically disqualify you from employment. That's what the drug screen is for.

My Assisntant manager had a DUI as did one of my other co workers. And well.. they are still employed..

My asm got one while employed but my coworker got his a while ago and he still got hired.

you probably still have a good shot. have a good interview and do well on the drug test. you should be ok.

Why are some of you guys saying stay away from corporate? What don't you guys like about att corp compared to agents? Pay?

If you get fired from an agent is it hard to get a job at COR?

As someone who has been in both spots... i think COR won't hire someone until it has been more than 6 months after you left the agent.
