new tilt owner here. just updated to the new htc rom. now how do i:

1. get the att bloatware off?

2. get the HTC Home Plugin?

3. i've read about some problems with the weather displaying depending on the city you live, what is the weather fix

4. is it better to save these items to your phone or memory card?

5. i want to save what i have now, in case i screw something up i have a backup of the new rom untouched or messed with and i would assume i should save that on the memory card or is it better to save the back up on the device? kind of defeats the purpose if u ask me

Trying to make it the tytn II eh

1. Hard reset the phone. Do this by going into settings and Clear Storage. When it prompts for loading ATT customizations, immediately soft reset the phone. This will prevent the ATT bloatware from installing from ROM.

2. I picked up the HTC HomePlugin from xda developers but can get it from htcwiki.com too. Just do a google search.

3. Not familiar with this one. My issues is that it does not have the specific city I live in so I picked the Metro City instead. Its close enough.

4. You only have about 100mb of storage and it can go really fast. My IE alone can tank 80mb of cached sites fast. Judgement call here. As for applications, I do prefer to put them on the RAM instead card for performance.

5. The Tilt came with Sprite backup. You can use that app just fine.
