Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 on TILT

I am looking for a little help or a pint in the right direction. I just loaded Microsoft Voice Command on my AT&T Tilt (8925). I love the app. It works great. There are really only 2 things I can't figure out.

1. How to make the voice caller id work. I don't seem to have that check box under options or notifications.
2. How to make it work thru bluetooth.

Can any one help?

1. You need to go into Voice Command for this option under phone.
2. VC 1.6 "should" work with bluetooth headsets but its been a hit n miss for me and MS does not officially support it. Should be just press the button and speak through your headset.

Voice command 1.6 for the PPC works on the Tilt but it requires some fiddling around.
First you need the updated files. I have them but don't see how I can post them here; sorry. They are available if you are a memebr of XDA

Once you have those:
Disable Voice Command before you attempt this

Overwrite your existing files from the zip. Make sure you can see hidden/system files

\Windows
VoiceCommand_PPC.cpl

\Program Files\Voice Command\
VoiceCmdRes_PPC.dll
VoiceCommandWMP.dll
voicecmd.exe

Enable voice command.

There is a discussion thread at
HTML Code:

that gives a step by step procedure for changing the registry.
A couple of minor changes though. VC is assigned to the Internet Explorer button instead of messaging or it was on mine.
Where it says to change the value of the Path= string you may have to add the string as mine was not there to change

To change the buttons as they suggest see this thread

There is a cab file to make some of this easier. I haven't used it but you can find it at

A lot depends on your headset model. I don't think anyone has all of the functions working through the headset.
Hope all of this helps.
