Can I use an FM modulator to listen to MP3's off the Tilt on the car radio? What do I need to do this? Is there a better way? Bluetooth? My car stereo is older and does not have BT or AUX inputs.

If your car has a cassette tape slot, why don't you just get a cassette tape to 3.5mm adapter? It inserts into your deck and you can hook the 3.5mm to your Tilt (with he extUSB to 3.5mm adapter).

As pointzero said, the tape deck adapter is going to give you better sound quality and a reliable connection. An FM modulator should give you a good connection especially if you get one where you can switch off the external antenna (so the only signal to the radio is from the modulator when you are using it). FM does clip the high end but in a car that shouldn't make a difference and isn't any worse than the radio anyway.

Another choice would be an FM transmitter but depending on where you live and which one you buy, this might not be a good option. I'm in the NYC area and haven't had good luck with any of them for my ipod. A friend has XM Radio and uses one but needs to change stations one or twice but otherwise likes it.

Depending on the car and how much you want to invest, you can probably get a replacement radio at CC or BB, that has an aux jack or bluetooth built in.

with this option you can also listen to a call over the car speaker, it works fine for me
