Installer not working after 1.1.4 upgrade

I recently upgraded to 1.1.4. Unlock, Jailbreak and activate using ZiPhone 2.5c.
Everything on my iphone works perfectly except I can't seem to download anything from the Installer.app. Everytime I try to download an app i.e Summerboard, Dock, etc, I get "Downloaded Package Failed".
Can anyone help me out/know what the problem is?

before clicking install, hit the clear queue button.... that should take care of it ...

ig ot the same problem caus ei had 1.1.3 hacked and when i upgrade don my home screen i had none of teh games i use to have but i go into installer and there there i can uninstall everything but summer board

I tried that, doesn't work. Still getting "Downloaded Package Failed".

I cleared the Queue and all started to work again. It was frustrating before because I was getting a Download Failed error while trying to install the community sources.... Thanks for the info.

Have you installed the BSD Subsystem?

I ran into the same problem on my sister's iPhone. The problem lies with Ste Packaging's updated URL...follow these instructions here:

Yea I looked into that from another topic in the forum but my Ste Packaging's URL seems to be the same as the new one. Right now I can't update anyways because I'm not using Edge only Wifi Connections and there's no connections in my area. I'll have to try it at work tomorrow. Hopefully deleting the Ste Packaging URL and putting it in again might work.

Make sure you type the new Ste URL exactly as is, spaces and case sensitive taken into account...good luck!

Finally got it working. Deleted the old Ste Packaging's URL and added in the new one (which when I checked was the same url as the old one) and hit refresh. Still the same problem. Erased the URL again and put it in a second time. Hit refresh and it started to refresh everything. Took about 3-4mins but when it finished, everything was working. Kind of weird but I'm glad everything is working now.

I was having the same problem, followed the instructions for the new Ste, and it does seem to work, but I now have lost a lot of packages. i.e. openSSH. can someone post another source for these?

I used Ziphone 3.0 to jailbreak, unlock and activate my phone. It automatically comes with the new Ste Pack URL. Every time i try to refresh my sources it take about a minute then tells me sources could not be refreshed!! I cant use my browser or anything im going nuts i wish i would have just stayed with 1.1.3. I have everything up to date on my iphone. The newest installer and everything. The only thing i dont have is community sources in my source list all i have is apptapp official bigboss apps conceited software modmyiphone the new ste packaging and iclarified. Im using windows btw. I have BSD Subsystem V2.1 an openSSH V4.6p1-2

I just had this same problem this afternoon. I was so excited to finally get this done, and the installer kept giving me the same error message. Frustrating.

I just rebooted the phone, and installed was finally able to download packages. Hopefully it will keep working.

i did not update the URL and got it to work. the magic is in refreshing the sources. do that.
