Express Card KPC680 AND K1 ROUTER

K1 says it requires a USB adapter in order to work, what I do not understand is why does'nt teh PCMCIA adapter that comes with the KPC680 not work? i have rewad that a Novotel PCMCIA adaapter works, i think it is a 16mb adapter, and usb typed maybe that is why. Any comments?, this does not apply to any other cards, so please do not respond about the otehrs, only this expresscard KPC680
