I installed the dock app. Everything works, but the screenshot feature. Any ideas ??

Didn't work on 1.1.3 either. It has not been updated for awhile. I wish there was a fix for it.

the dock screenshot worked on 1.1.3, but yea you're right i never tried screenshot until now and it didnt work for me.

apparently riftweaver from another forum had a workaround:

"If you ssh as root to the iPhone, you can do something like this:

> cd /var/root/Media
> ln -s /var/mobile/Media/DCIM ./DCIM

This links the "real" DCIM directory, where all camera photos get stored, to the subdir under root where Dock writes its photos. Screenshots from Dock will then be written to the actual photo location, and show up in the Photo app."

if that makes sense i guess. never tried it though

dont want to start a new thread but i tried to download the dock app. on a jailbroken 1.1.4 iphone and it start to download and says
Error
Main script execution failed
how do i fix this

...just in case you did not know, there is a built in screenshot capability that just has to be enabled with BossPrefs. Then you can simply take a screen shot by holding home and flicking the mute switch. The screen shot will be stored in your photos just like taking one from the camera.

jt-type: try clearing your sources, refreshing your sources...see if that helps. it could be permissions problem too.

I recommend the one on installer.iclarified.com

if you have the new version of boss prefs installed, it has an option under "more" that enables the built in screenshot function

thanks everyone last night I checked installer and there was an update, went ahead and updated it , later tried to download the dock app it work, dont know what fixed but its working thanks again
