wow. I read on mmi that the dev team has come up with a way to modify the firmware ispf files so that when you shift restore your phone, you can simply select the modded firmware file and it will install a fresh firmware with all the unlock/jailbreak/activate hacks built in, as well as bds subsystem, installer etc... Just when u thought hacking the iPhone couldn't get any easier than restoring and using ziphone/iplus... Now u can remove the latter step and u will just have to restore!
(for the noobs, what all this means is that you can hack ur phone in iTunes by simply doing a restore.)
not sure how this will be distributed since the firmware files are copyrited and its illegal to distribute them in that modded state but I'm sure they will find a legal loophole probably just giving us the tools to mod the files ourselves.
I keep hearing the term monster packs being used too, not sure exactly what that means but its got a lot of people excited.

So what are your guys thought or predictions on this?

I just think it will lead to more problems, the jailbreak, and unlock should change things as little as possible to keep the phone as stable as possible. The more that is changed the more unstable and incompatible it will be.

I think the dev team should stop focusing on the iPhone...Same with everyone else...we need a hacked version of iTunes!!!!!
