VX6700 - DeaD, DeaD, DeaD - Help

I was performing both the VX6700 Windows Mobile 5.0 software update and the VX6700 software update from Verizon's website and as soon as it was complete, the phone shut down itself and stayed shut down?! I tried to manually turn it back on but the screen (w/o backlighting) only reads "Serial" at the top and "v2.05" at the bottom and stays this way and will not turn on. Can anyone please help me as I just seriously got this phone the day before yesterday. No i cannot do anything with Verizon as I bought this on eBay. Any input and or help will be very thankful.

You might try doing a hard reset. While holding the two softkeys, briefly insert the stylus into the reset hole on the bottom of the phone. A few seconds later, release the two softkeys. Hopefully some instructions will appear on the display. If not, it's toast (or a boat anchor).

its in bootloader.... Try reflashing the update....if that does not work pm me.

Thanksfortheresponse guys. I did try the hard reset a few times before posting with no luck. I did the reflash of the update and it worked after the second time. Once again, thanks!
