When you hack an iPhone, you void the warranty - Most people in here understand that. See, hacking is not 'illegal' or 'immoral'. I don't think there's a law that can actually prevent you from running your iPhone on a carrier that is not AT&T. Nor is there a law that prevents your from running your phone 'out of spec'. However, when you do this, you void your warranty. However, when you alter your phone or change something that voids the warranty, then try to get warranty service, you are lying. That *is* immoral, as you DID hack your phone and you DID void your warranty. I understand these are $400+ units that you're using, but I'm sure you realized that when you got into the game. L. |
