Hello,
Recently, my Celltop application stopped working on my Alltel v3a. I figured that flashing the phone or updating it through Motoroal Software Update might help, so I decided to give the latter a try. However, the update application won't recognize that my phone is connected.
Any Ideas?

So when you plug your phone into your computer, launch MSU, what happens?
Try turning off your phone, pulling the battery, putting it back in, then turning the phone back on. Plug in the usb cable and see if that works.

The V3a is a cheap phone, plain and simple. There is no known available V3a monster for the V3a, outside of an Alltel store. I tried mine with MSU, and it constantly says that the software is already updated, so there's no use trying that method. MSU won't recognize it because it is little known, because it is CHEAP!

This depends on what SW is loaded right now in the phone is your sw R38.0_X_01.1A.02R?
If it is its the latest meaning no updates available and the flex is XS6ALT01V3A1NA60.0R_PRInn07119... I hope this helps
If is not, let me know what error message you have to help you
