DST Issues AGAIN!

I came out here today after suffering yet again the dreaded DST issues. Although I have the '07 patch installed, it didn't convert correctly, so now my appointments are all over the board. I was very surprised and disappointed to see no one else expressed the same issue. Has anyone else run into problems with DST?

Well, my BB didn't update, so I had to do it manually. Even though it was set to Rogers Network time, their time was still an hour ahead.

I had the same problem and had to manually correct the time but I'm with Telus.

I've manually corrected the time, but that doesn't seem to have an impact. My time is set to "network" whhich is correct. I create an appointment on my desktop and it show up an hour behind on the BlackBerry. I even tried changing the time back to 1:59 AM on Sunday to see if 3:00 would show up, but it doesn't. I get 2:00 instead, which leads me to believe something is still very screwy with my OS. I've resintalled the patch three times now, both OTA and through USB. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Which models are not updating?!

All has been well with me on Bell (8830). And even my 7250 last year with the patch worked fine.

I didn't update either and I have a Pearl on TMo.

Also, my time is set to network, but it never actually matches network time unless I reset it. Why doesn't this work?

I have an employee with a 7130e that did not update, even though it's set to use the network time (which is correct). I have a 7130e myself and the time is updating to the network time correctly. Both are running v4.1.0.344 (2.2.0.149). According to the Blackberry site, this is a patched version of the OS http://www.blackberry.com/select/ds...s/patched.shtml

I'll be calling Verizon.

Just got off the phone with Verizon and my problem is fixed.

Even though the OS is supposed to be pre-patched... you have to re-run the patch. *rolls eyes*

I have the 8310 and had the same issue.

However I changed it to "Manual" and then back to "Network" without changing anything and it fixed the time without me having to do it manually.

Seems like it doesn't check for the DST time change unless forced to do so on some OS version.
