somehow, I'd prefer S500i over W580
I don't use much on audio player other than streaming real
but some question I'd like to ask
1. reception: is it better than K790a?
2. cam quality: I looked at some sample on ringhk, it looks rather good, even without AF
3. cracked keypad (I'm gonna buy several spare keypad just in case)

just want to hear your input
note: I need the browser button, that's why I don't get W580, which becomes walkman button, and I don't want to get att version by mistake

i have one..its a decent little phone.

i havent had a problem with the keys cracking...reception seems fairly good, altho i never have really compared to anything else. all in all its a very decent phone. the keypad is great for texting.

I have both. Camera on K790a is far better than S500i, but the keypad on the S500i is easier to text on, at least for me. I have not had any issues with the keypad, no cracks, and I am into my second month where I will do another 1k text messages.

Reception, should be the same really. They both have the 850/1900 bands so in the US it should be pretty equal. I think that they S500i might edge it out a little.

S500i has little things like flash themes/menus, illumination lights, the ability to use .swf files as wallpaper that make it a cool phone. There is no way that I can find to turn off the side lights, so if you don't like those, get the K790a.

S500/W580 is the worst possible camera... totally not 2MP, its more like my 0.3MP camera

I agree with this. W810i has better 2 megapixel camera than S500/W580. S500i is almost on par with the 1.3 megapixel found on the Motorola RAZR.

hopefully the reception with T-Mobile will be on par with W300i, which is truly unbeaten
about cam, I still have N73 does the job, and the forthcoming X1
however, I may grab C702 if any of these condition is met
1. NA1700 3G version is available
2. the price is lower than $300
