weird happening with w580i

ok so I hooked up my wife's w580i to use the SE web updater (you know that unplug the battery put it back in, then hold c and connect it to the computer)
well it said the phone was up to date...good I guess....well she tells me the next day that there are now protected files on the memory card and she cannot remove them...dunno what to do about it cuz reformatting the card will mean less space on it.....any suggestions?

lolz anyhow u have less space... i would suggest format it...
