They really live for calling someone a noob 800 times a day and saying we dont care what you do because you dont have enough posts. With any phone its hit and miss. I am sure its a good phone. With anyone phone you buy these days from one of the big boys...Moto, Nokia, SE or Samsung you got about a 95 % chance of having no issues. Buy the phone and do everything you plan to do with it before the return policy is up from whoever you buy it from. Buy it from a company that backs up what they sell. Plemix, importgsm and of course directly from the manufacturer. Good luck to you and happy hunting. I hope this helps.

The keypad issues seem to have been fixed, although there is no guarantee. Get unbranded or debrand it yourself to utilize the full potential of the phone. SE phones do get the white screen of death. Usually can be fixed with a flash. Dapunisher - you are completely wrong. Usually the stuff and questions that are asked have been answered a million times. If you use the search button, you can usually find the answer you are looking for, especially relating to a phone that has been out as long as the W580i, which, by the way, has its own thread in the SE forum. The memebers here that have a lot of posts get sick and tired of no0bs asking without searching. It clogs up the board, and is a waste of space. |

There are plenty of people around here who are willing to help. There's no "loop" The post was just in the wrong section. He may think he is outside the loop because he should go back to the nokia section and post comments like that. The 580 is a good little phone. I have had 0 problems with mine. For reception it fits in just like every other SE that iv owned. Its good - better than nokia's Iv owned in the past. All phones can have problems but Im sticking with SE because i think they are the best "phones" IMHO (and the price is usually pretty good)... |
